JACK TURNER

Jack is a multidisciplinary director who grew up with an idealist art-mum and a practical IT-dad. Combining an eclectic visual style with a tactile approach, Jack’s eye for texture and ability to work across various mediums is seen in his dynamic commercials and music videos.

Jack’s fantastical imagery is backed by a sharp narrative that evolved at the NFTS and blossomed after his first documentary, Chasing Tokyo, was acquired by the Olympic Channel and Discovery+. It earned him a prestigious Webby Award Nomination and won Gold at the Telly Awards.

Behind the scenes Jack continues to develop film + tv projects exploring separation and divorce, human connection and value of communication in the digital age told via a surreal lens. He often has to remind himself it’s not that deep. So here’s a picture of him smiling on holiday in Porto.
